First visit to Russia– on route to India

Both my onward and return journey from India were through Moscow airport. Though my stay in were brief to be even counted as landing in Russia, I liked the place a lot. The first thing that comes to mind when landing at airport is, they have a lot of space, esp. if you coming from place like India and New york .The airport is huge. Looking through the window of my flight, I could see small houses, with big gardens, farms … a perfect way of life for me. The infrastructure of the airport seemed more like India, then the west. And the best part – language. I cannot understand a word of Russian language, but it just feels good to hear. I am going back to US, sitting at the Moscow airport. This time it has snowed, and man, the sight is beautiful . I just cant wait to get to Pittsburgh, which apparently has got its own share of snow. As I had a lot of time to kill , both on my way to India and return, I visited some of the terminals here. They vary a bit in infrastructure. Terminal D seemed

Introverts

Read an Article at  http://www.carlkingcreative.com/10-myths-about-introverts  , liked it , so reprodicing it here. Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days. Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite. Myth #3 – Introverts are rude. Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting. Myth #4 – Introverts don’

How Gullible Are We?

H 2 O: Dangerous Chemical! A student at Eagle Rock Junior High won first prize at the Greater Idaho Falls Science Fair, April 26. He was attempting to show how conditioned we have become to alarmists practicing junk science and spreading fear of everything in our environment. In his project he urged people to sign a petition demanding strict control or total elimination of the chemical "dihydrogen monoxide."And for plenty of good reasons, since: it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting it is a major component in acid rain it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state accidental inhalation can kill you it contributes to erosion it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients He asked 50 people if they supported a ban of the chemical. Forty-three (43) said yes, six (6) were undecided, and only one (1) knew that the chemical was water. The title of his prize winning project was, "How Gullible Are We?&q
